Parking & Transport for tomorrow's games in Pairc Ui Chaoimh

Sunday May 20th
We extend a warm welcome to all supporters attending Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday May 20th. Our advice to all regardless of where you are travelling from is to arrive early and to park and ride or walk to the stadium.

Turnstiles gates will open at 12.30pm.

Please note there will be severe restrictions on parking anywhere near the stadium and vehicular access will be extremely limited. However, there is ample parking available in the city centre with regular shuttle bus services to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.  
In addition to on street parking, Q-Park are offering discounted Match Day parking for Páirc Uí Chaoimh Customers. See details below

GAA has teamed up with Q-Park to offer discounted parking to Pairc Ui Chaoimh visitors.
The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is Ireland’s largest sporting organisation. It is celebrated as one of the great amateur sporting associations in the world.
Q-Park are offering discounted pre-booked parking at Pairc Ui Chaoimh for all GAA football and hurling games, so you can relax in the knowledge that you have a place to park and enjoy the match!

Match day parking:
24 hours - €9 - arrive at any time on match dates.
Day product (9am – 9pm) - €7

Parking for Buses and Cars also available at Blackrock Hurling Club from 11.00am and Cork Constitution Rugby Club grounds from 12.00 noon

Public Transport
Shuttle Bus Service
Bus Éireann will operate a Shuttle Bus Service from Lapps Quay (opposite City Hall, Cork) every 10 minutes to Páirc Uí Chaoimh starting at 2pm with last departure at 4pm.

  • Child Single   €1.30
  • Leapcard and Free Travel Passes will be accepted

Bus Route 202
Route 202 operates from Merchants Quay to Mahon Point and customers can board at Merchants Quay in the City Centre or at Mahon Point, to be dropped off at Ballintemple, adjacent to Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The stadium is a 5 minute walk from this stop. Route 202 will also be available from Ballintemple, Blackrock Road after the match to City Centre and Mahon Point.


Access Restrictions
There will be restricted access in the following areas on match day
• Monahan Road – Birchgrove, C.A.B. Junction
• Maryville- Lower, Middle, Upper
• Blackrock Road West –Lindville, Janeville
• Blackrock Road East – Park Lane/ Avenue, Ardfoyle, Barrington’s Avenue, Beaumont Avenue, Rockcliffe/ Dromcora, Menloe Gardens, Menloe Park, Dundanion Court
• Church Yard Lane – Russet Court, Avondale Park, Copperhill, Temple Hill Lawn, Beaumont Cottages
 
Respect Our Neighbours
We would ask that patrons respect our neighbours, particularly those living in the Ballintemple, Blackrock and Ballinlough area and please park responsibly. We would also ask that you heed the advice of stewards and Gardaí who will be operating at various estates and roads close the the stadium.

About us

Whitechurch GAA Club was first established in 1904 to represent the eastern half of Blarney parish
The Club is based in the Whitechurch Community complex where in recent years we have developed two new pitches, changing rooms and a hurling wall to cater in the best possible way for the youth of the area. We now excellent GAA facilities in place and the priority from now onwards will exclusively be focused on developing players, teams and coaches so that as a Club we become the best that we can be.
