Intermediate Football & Hurling Championships Draws

The draws for round 3 and the subsequent rounds of the County Intermediate Football & Hurling Championships will take place on this evening Wednesday 18th July in Pairc Uí Rinn at 7.00pm. There will be a live streaming of the draws on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pg/OfficialCorkGAA/videos. The draws will also be posted on the website immediately after the draw.

Intermediate Football Championship

Round 3 (Open Draw) – Ten winners from Round 1, plus five winners from Round 2 plus Bye teams from Round 2. A total of 16 teams. Eight games (A - H). Losers eliminated. Repeat pairings from round 1 to be avoided.

Round 3 (Open Draw)– Thirteen winners from Round 1 plus Seven Winners from Round 2. A total of 20 teams, 10 games ( Winners will be called A, B. C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J). Losers eliminated. Repeat pairings from round 1 to be avoided.

Round 4 – Ten winners from round 3 (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J) Two games and six byes. Losers eliminated. This will be an open draw between all the winners of Round 3.
The winners of these two games will play each other in Q-final 1.

Quarter finals - Two winners of Round 4 plus six byes from Round 3.
Winner of Round 4 Game 1 will play winners of Round 4 game 2 will be the first quarter final. The bye teams from Round 4, will be drawn in an open draw to make up the remaining three quarter finals.

About us

Whitechurch GAA Club was first established in 1904 to represent the eastern half of Blarney parish
The Club is based in the Whitechurch Community complex where in recent years we have developed two new pitches, changing rooms and a hurling wall to cater in the best possible way for the youth of the area. We now excellent GAA facilities in place and the priority from now onwards will exclusively be focused on developing players, teams and coaches so that as a Club we become the best that we can be.
