IFC & IHC Relegation Format
There are two teams to be relegated in IFC and IHC this year and the CCC have agreed the following formats. Ranking points from the last four years will be used to create seedings in both formats.
IFC
5 teams in contention for relegation
Adrigole, Youghal, Kildorrery, Mitchelstown, St. Finbarr's or Grenagh (Sept 8th)
Ranking points (2016 – 2019) in brackets:
Mitchelstown (305)
St. Finbarr's (130)
Kildorrery (90)
Youghal (40)
Adrigole (20)
Grenagh (10)
Using ranking points for seedings, if St. Finbarr's beat Grenagh then:
Round 1a; Mitchelstown v Adrigole,
Round 1 b; Kildorrery v Youghal.
Round 2; two losers of Round 1 enter a three-team group to play a Round Robin format with two matches each with the lowest ranked team, Grenagh.
Using ranking points for seedings, if Grenagh beat St. Finbarr’s then:
Round 1a; Mitchelstown v Youghal,
Round 1b; St. Finbarr’s v Kildorrery.
Round 2; two losers of Round 1 enter a three-team group to play a Round Robin format with two matches each with the lowest ranked team, Adrigole.
As we await a result from St. Finbarr’s v Grenagh, the earliest date for Round 1 will be the weekend of September 14th / 15th.
IHC
7 teams in contention for relegation
Barryroe, Milford, Kilbrittain, Na Piarsaigh, Ballinhassig, Castlemartyr, Mayfield or Kildorrery (Aug 31st)
Ranking points (2016 – 2019) in brackets:

Kilbrittain (85)
Castlemartyr (65)
Na Piarsaigh (55)
Barryroe (45)
Ballinhassig (20)
Milford (15)
Using ranking points for seedings, losers of Kildorrery / Mayfield play Kilbrittain (play-off a) and the winners stay up.
Then, in a seeded play-off,
(i) Loser play-off a v Milford
(ii) Castlemartyr v Ballinhassig
(iii) Na Piarsaigh v Barryroe
Then, losers (i), (ii), and (iii) play-off in a three-team group, to play a Round Robin format with two matches each, to find two to go down.
As we await a result from Kildorrery v Mayfield, the earliest date for relegation fixtures will be the weekend of September 7th / 8th.

All outstanding fixtures in the above competitions will now be fixed and included in the championship programme.
